Andy’s friends and family have set up two memorial funds in his
name. The first to help with Andy and Kristen’s extra expenses.
The second for a permanent improvement at YMCA Camp Gorham, Eagle Bay,
NY.
Andy had excellent medical insurance, however a fund is being set up
to handle potential expenses above and beyond what his policy will pay.
Donations to this fund may be directed: Attention Beth Rodriquez, Assistant
Branch Manager, Mesa National Bank, PO 2498, Edwards, CO, 81632. Your
participation will be recognized and recorded by the bank and the families.
Andy enjoyed many summers as a camper, counselor, and wrangler at Camp
Gorham in the Adirondack Mountains in New York. Most of his early skills
and interest in horses developed there. He taught basic Western riding
and horsemanship to many groups of young campers. He made many friends
through the camp, and two of them; John Steinbrenner and John Roman,
have agreed to participate in building a permanent improvement to the
Camp in Andy’s memory. Your tax-deductible donation made out to “YMCA

At this time, Kristen and the Woods family have no plans for a permanent
memorial in the Vail Valley. Every sunrise, each bright constellation
will remind us of him.
